Vespor
An AI-powered academic platform for college students.
Vespor turns the messy stack of lectures, PDFs and notes into one AI workspace built for how students actually study.
The gap
Students juggle five apps to prep for one exam — a PDF reader, a note app, a flashcard tool, a chat model, and a folder of lecture slides. Nothing talks to anything else, so the work of studying gets lost in the work of managing tools.
Approach
Start from the study session, not the feature list. We mapped how students actually move from reading to notes to recall, then designed a single workspace where AI sits inside that loop instead of in a separate tab.
What we shipped
A fast, opinionated study workspace: import your material, read and annotate in place, generate notes and questions from what you're reading, and drill recall — all against your own content. Built by the team and iterated in public.
Stack
TypeScript end to end, a modern React front end, a serverless Postgres backend, and LLM calls wired directly into the reading and recall flows with retrieval over the student's own material.
Where it's headed
In active beta. The near-term focus is sharpening the recall loop and the quality of AI-generated questions before opening it up more widely.
